Director

Aimee Adler - Aimee is so excited to be back at Camp Dream Street as the Program Director. She has spent the past 10 summers volunteering at Camp Dream Street in all kinds of roles from a counselor to Assistant Program Director. Originally from Memphis, Aimee now lives in NYC where she works in wealth management. Aimee's favorite part of camp is making new friends, and she cannot wait to see everyone this summer!

 

Assistant Director

Frances Huff- Frances has spent the last 9 summers volunteering at Camp Dream Street. In addition to serving as a counselor, Frances has served as Special Activities Coordinator, Great Expectations co-coordinator, Daily Activities coordinator, and a program writer for many daily activities. She lives in Madison, MS and graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently working at Canopy Children’s Solutions as a Behavior Technician and is working on Masters through Florida Tech! Her favorite part of camp is seeing campers gain independence and try new things! She is so excited to be back together in person this year and is counting the days until camp!

Chairman
Alana Schipper - Alana is from Jackson, Mississippi. She currently works as a clinical dietitian in Little Rock, AR. She has been volunteering with Camp Dream Street for over 10 summers and has previously served as Program Director, Assistant Director, Daily Activities Coordinator, and Evening Programming Coordinator.


Vice Chair of Programming
Kimberly Evans Nicolas - Kimberly is native to Memphis, TN. She works as the Director of Technology and Agent Resources at Keller Williams First Choice in Prairieville, LA. She has been volunteering with Camp Dream Street since 2007 and has previously served as Program Director, GE Coordinator, and EP Coordinator.


Vice Chair of Finance
Ben Barron - Ben is a native of Jackson, MS, but currently lives in York, Maine with his wife, two children, two dogs and one cat. Ben has volunteered at Camp Dream Street since the mid 1990s, and his experience as a counselor at Dream Street led him to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist. The former owner of a 20 clinic PT practice in Greater Boston, Ben currently works for the largest technology in the outpatient rehabilitation sector, empowering physical, occupational and speech therapists to help their patients achieve their greatest level of health.

Vice Chair of Marketing

Amelia Mann Halstead - Amelia is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a graduate of Emory University. She currently works at Jewish Children’s Regional Service and is a mom to 2 little girls in New Orleans, LA. She has been volunteering with Camp Dream Street since 2003 and has previously served as Assistant Program Director, GE Coordinator, and Daily Activities Coordinator.

Administrator
Cynthia Huff - Cynthia has been associated with Camp Dream Street for over 30 years and presently helps with camper recruitment. Prior to becoming a mother to two daughters, Cynthia enjoyed a 15 year career working with children with special needs.
